Wolf Trap

Like all other wolf traps, this structure consists of granite walls converging towards a pit, built to capture wolves. The walls could extend for up to 500 metres. The wolf hunts involved the populations of Xertelo, São Lourenço, Azevedo, and Chelo, who shared grazing lands in the mountains.
